YouTube launch of Radio Western 'Four Days To Albuquerque'

FOUR DAYS TO ALBUQUERQUE from ROSCOE POND. This is adapted from my Western Movie Screenplay that I had written a few years back. I originally wanted it to be a Western TV Pilot. It was later expanded into a full length movie. Then, I decided to reformat it into a Radio drama so that I could get producers interested.

KUNM Radio had listened to my finished production and asked if they could broadcast it over the Southwest airwaves. "Earth Rock Radio" also wanted to air it too (2023). This production reached quite a few listeners. 

The story surrounds two Navajo Clan brothers who are kidnapped by the sheriff of Albuquerque. They travel through a mountain owned by a Navajo Witch. The race is on to see who will survive in this mysterious mountain.

I launched my Radio Western on "YouTube" (2024). I added a new poster and a wave-length element which makes the sound pop. You can listen in HD. I'm proud of it and hope to get film producers interested. Enjoy....

EARTH ROCK RADIO will interview Roscoe Pond on Sunday June 11, 2023 at 4PM at New Mexico.

Radio Broadcast Premiere 'Four Days To Albuquerque' Western on May 28, 2023

IT IS HERE - 89.9 KUNM Radio in New Mexico. They will broadcast the Western, "Four Days to Albuquerque" on Sunday May 28, 2023 at 6PM. There will be an interview with Roscoe Pond who is the writer and director.

The interview and western will remain in the archive for two weeks at "KUNM.org." In case you missed it.

Hello everyone:

My interview with KUNM radio will be on Saturday April 22, 2023. I will receive a One-Hour-Broadcast with interview plus radio western (Four Days to Albuquerque). KUNM will schedule me-in for May/June 2023. The D.J. will let me know when. Stay tuned.

This broadcast will give my radio western a boost in exposure here in the Southwest. KUNM (University of New Mexico) airs over a large audience in several US states and on the internet.

Launch of 'Four Days to Albuquerque' at 'Sound-Cloud' on April 10, 2023

4 DAYS TO ALBUQUERQUE from ROSCOE POND... The reviews are in and I have a good radio western. Since this is a Navajo story. Several Navajo friends and colleagues enjoyed this western set in 1878. 

This is my first radio drama as writer and director. A big "thanks" goes out to my large cast who did a good job. 

The story has a strong villain in Sheriff Peters (Terry Mulcahy) whom listeners say "he" deserves what-ever he gets.

• The radio western will launch on "Sound-Cloud" April 10, 2023. 
• Running time is 39 minutes.
• It will run in "Mono-Sound" just like old-time radio.
• All performers can add "Voice-Over" to their Acting Resume.
• Performers can "Link" and/or "Embed" Sound-Cloud to their own websites.

Coming Soon... Radio Western 'Four Days To Albuquerque' 2023

Hello.... I am Roscoe Pond who wrote and directed "Four Days To Albuquerque." The radio script was adapted from my original movie screenplay. I recorded all of the actors and actresses last Summer and Fall of 2022. The short trailer was released last December.

The editing process is coming to an end and the western drama sounds great. I plan to have a "Listening Party" with the cast very soon. I'll also announce when this radio western drops. 

I had learned a great deal from my first radio experience. "Thank You" to all of the performers who enthusiastically participated. You all brought my characters to life. I appreciate it. Stay tuned....
